Description
Espresso is both a coffee beverage and a brewing method of Italian origin. A true espresso shot is a strong black coffee made by forcing water through tightly packed ground coffee beans in an espresso machine. The extraction produces a shot of coffee with a small layer of foam known as crema on the top
It is not a specific bean, bean blend, or roast level and is generally thicker than coffee brewed by other methods, with the viscosity of warm honey. A small amount of nearly boiling water is forced under 9–10 bars of pressure through finely-ground coffee beans creating a concentrated strength of steam pressured expressed coffee. It is served in small, strong black shots
The thick fragrant rivers of dark delicious coffee is enjoyed on its own or blended with milk, cream or water to create your favorite coffee drinks like an Americano, Macchiato and Cappuccino.
